10 months!

Tomorrow our little man will be 10 months old!  Here are some things I don't want to forget about him at this stage.

Nothing is better than being gone all day and opening the door to watch Owen put his head down and crawl as fast as he can to me.  He does it with such determination.  I hope he will allways be so happy to see me ;-)

Owen loves to clap now.....so cute!  He will clap for anything really. 

He is interacting with the girls....not sure how much they like it, but it is a start. 

Owen points at things he likes, especially ceilling fans.

He cruises around furniture and likes to "walk" around with us holding his hands.

Owen continues to be a pretty good sleeper.  He is teething, so occasionally we have a rough night.

He finally started picking up finger foods and put them in his mouth! We are making good progress on eating solids in general.

I LOVE his sweet little voice when he is babbling!

My cousin Ben married his sweetie Sarah last weekend.  It was a beautiful wedding and we had a lot of fun....I didn't take very many pictures, but here are a few.

9 months

Woops, a little late on this post! 

Owen is now, almost 10 months old, but oh well!

I had his pictures taken today, thanks again Sarah Schultz photography!  She is wonderful with kids and has an amazing talent!  Here are 3 preview shots, she is so busy that the rest won't be back for about 5 weeks, well worth the wait!!!  Once again Owen was not up for smiling, we did get a couple.  I have such a serious boy on my hands.  It is kind of a bummer because he has been so smiley lately.

BIG NEWS!!!!!!

Owen's bottom teeth finally popped through yesterday!  Now he might be interested in more foods since it may be easier to chew ;-)

On a sad note, we lost a great person in our family last week...Grandpa Robert Koby, we will all miss him dearly.

Fall Fun

We have been enjoying this lovely fall weather!  Fall is by far my favorite time of year.  From enjoying the changing colors to local festivals to snuggling up on the couch on a cool afternoon for a nap.  I love it all!  It is also fun to bundle Owen up in cute fall clothes!

Last weekend we went to an apple orchard for some fun.  Owen loved it all, his favorite was the tractors! 

My parents planted some pumpkins for Owen in their garden.  We have been watching them grow all summer.  They turned out great.  Last year at this time my mom was planning a baby shower for me themed around "mommy's little pumpkin."  We called him the lil pumpkin before he was born.  It is hard to believe that just a year ago he wasn't here, but we were anxiously waiting for him.  He has brought so much joy to our lives.  Here are some shots with Owen and his pumpkins!

Oktoberfest & our busy boy

Ethan's parents were kind enough to watch Owen last Saturday so Ethan and I could attend the Oktoberfest parade (not the best parade for a little boy that just wants to crawl around everywhere).  It was a really nice time filled with lots of family and friends.

Owen has transformed into a BIG boy the last couple of weeks....crawling and pulling himself up on things and jabbering all the time.  He is so much fun right now....here are some pictures of our busy boy over the past week.

Owen LOVES the wind....maybe because it blows his hair around, I'm not sure.  He makes this exact face and puts his hands in the air when it is windy outside....it cracks me up!

Owen loves to play fetch with himself....he will throw anything that bounces and chase after it....Nellie and Lucy are pretty excited about his new skill.
