Owen's 6 month pictures

Here are Owen's 6 month professional pictures that we had taken last month....these were taken outside and he was too busy watching the world around him to smile and look in the direction of the camera.  The photographer, Sarah Petersen along with her husband Brent and Ethan and I tried so hard to get Owen to smile, but he just wasn't having it.

We are pretty happy with how they turned out.  I guess Owen's big eyes make any picture look cute.

I can't get over how big and blue Owen's eyes are, Sarah really captured them.

Ethan and I are having so much fun with Owen and all the new "adventures" he has been going on this summer.

We brought Owen to Cruising night at Rudy's Drive-In.  Ethan and I like to grab a snack and look at all the classic cars.  Hopefully someday we will be cruising down in our classic car.  Ethan has made some progress this summer since we spend a lot of time around the house these days.

Tait and Katie came to visit.  Tait is so cute, it was nice to catch up with his mommy.

Owen was being quite the bully, he kept hitting Tait (on accident) with the rings and taking away the toys that Tait was playing with.....Owen better watch out though, because Tait is bigger than him already and I am sure will end up being a lot bigger!

The Wilde's invited us out on their boat on Sunday.  Despite my mommy fears of my little boy swimming in the river, I reached deep and found some courage.  Good thing I did because Owen LOVED the water, sand (except when he put some in his mouth), and watching all the action on the river.  Thanks again Ben, Michelle, and Landon we had such a great time!  Here are a ton of pictures:

In other Webinger news, I have another injury to report.  Nellie tore her ACL in her other leg.  She had surgery on Wednesday and is finally doing better.  This time around she had quite a bit of pain a few days after surgery, but we are now on top of it.....and thankfully we are all getting some sleep!

Great-Grandma Gloria was finally able to meet Owen.  We were very excited for her to meet him, and eat her dumplings!

Sunday was a lazy bumming around day.  It was great!

We tried to take Owen to the park to swing, but he fell asleep.  It turned into a nice walk.

4th of July

We celebrated Owen's first 4th of July last weekend.  Despite being in bed at 7, We enjoyed lots of outside activities.  Here are a bunch of pictures from the last week.

We played at the park with our friends Landon and Michelle.  The boys are starting to interact more with eachother and it is really fun!  We love having a friend that lives just 2 blocks away.

Owen loves the summer!  I am going to really have to use my mommy creativity this winter to find fun things for Owen to do.  I hope that becoming a mom somehow triggered that part of my brain to start working ;-)
