Celebrations

Mommy celebrated her 31st birthday and Colin celebrated his 1/2 year birthday!  It is hard for us to believe that Colin is 6 months old already!

We went out to a place near the river, but since it looked like it might rain and there was a band playing outside we decided to sit inside....good thing because it poured and after it was done raining we went outside to listen to the band.....Owen is quite the dancer!

Happy 6 months Colin James!

Colin's 6 months stats:

2 feet 3 inches (50th percentile)
head circumference (50th percentile)

Colin, you are so smiley and loving.  You bring so much joy to this family!

Cheers to another year!

Crazy Buffalo

We headed out to the annual Crazy Buffalo La Crescent invitational Cross Country Meet.  At this point Owen had racing on his mind.  He was pretty excited to get to the race and see all the flags in the shoot at the end.  He wasn't too excited to have to wait to the end for the Elementary Fun run.  Buppa Larry had Owen run the last 100 meters or so.  After watching him run though, I think he could have run at least half the race...the boy loves to run especially when other kids are chasing him.  It was a great day for the race and we are looking forward to next year!

Owen pretty much doesn't want to take pictures with me lately.....but I sure like to snuggle him ;-)

run, run, run Owen!

4 Webinger Boys

okay, this is a lot of blogging catch up!  Maybe a couple more and I will be caught up for the month!

BEST big Brother!

Owen really is the best big brother to Colin.  It amazes me everyday how he is gentle with him and how he protects him.  He is especially worried if someone picks up or tries to take something that is his "brother's"

Some of my favorites:

"It's okay baby, Owen right here"  (we say to the boys when they are upset that mommy and daddy are right here and it is okay so when Colin is upset he says this to him.....so sweet!)

"Hi baby, Its Owen"  Every morning Owen greets Colin.

"Baby doesn't have teeth, baby eats cereal"  When baby tries to grab something off my plate

"Hold babies hand"  Owen likes to lay next to his brother and hold his hand.

Colin also completely loves Owen and watches EVERYTHING he does.  Owen can really get Colin giggling too.  I am loving this brother interaction!

Every time I pick the boys up from daycare the ladies tell me what a good brother Owen is.  Apparently he watches them like a hawk.  If he doesn't think Colin likes something he tells them to "stop it" or "put baby back in the swing (or wherever he thinks he should be).  when other kids come near Colin's things Owen gets in the middle so they do not take anything that is his.

Thank-you Owen for being such a great big brother!

Owen wanted to give his baby a bottle the other day....he was actually pretty good at it!

Labor Day weekend

We headed to Menominee-UW Stout for our yearly trip to Daddy's Alumni Cross Country and Jamie Block race.  I of course have reached a point in my life that I almost always forget something when I leave the house, this time it was my camera.....I am pretty sick about it, but what can you do?

Owen and Colin loved watching their daddy run by us and Owen was a little upset when I told him he wouldn't be able to "catch Daddy."

Owen loved the kids race after the big boys raced.  He ran all the way to the end of the race and then turned around and ran to the beginning saying "try race again!".  He got upset when all the "guys" (kids) didn't follow him back to start the race over.  I think we might have a little runner on our hands?

It was a wonderful day and we celebrated a wonderful person (whom Colin is named after)!  It was so nice to see all Daddy's friends and catch up with them and all their growing families.

Sunday my Grandpa "Woodshed" came out to my Mom and Dad's to spend the day with us.  He is always so much fun, Owen gets a kick out of him.

Chatty, Smiley Colin!

I just love Owen's face here.....he probably heard a bird, cow, or plane.

Where have I been? Introducing.....

Man, I have been one busy Momma these days!  I have taken loads of pictures, but haven't had a chance to blog much.  The weather has been lovely and we have been enjoying every bit of it.

Here is the start of a major blog catch up.

My cousin Kelley and her hubby Mike welcomed a sweetie into the world and they had me take a few pics of her.  She is such a cutie and we are all happy and thankful that Mommy and baby are doing well!  She is 5 days old in these pictures.....and while it started out a little rough, she was a PERFECT little model ;-)

Introducing Harper Ann!

WE LOVE YOU!
