The rolling Man

Owen is officially rolling like crazy.  After church on Sunday we put Owen on the floor and he rolled over, he has been doing it non stop since.  This has made our bedtime/nap routine a little more challenging since he rolls in his crib and then he fusses because he doesn't want to be on his tummy.  He seems to have forgot how to roll off his tummy.  Also he rolls half way over and then wakes himself up.  I am not complaining because he is still sleeping through the night!  We are really lucky.

I am sooo lucky to stay home 2 days a week with my little man, we have a lot of fun together.  Today we enjoyed a trip to the park and a long walk.  It was nice to get outside and play since last weekend was a little too hot and humid for Owen.

After coming up short on Friday and Saturday, Daddy shot a turkey on Sunday morning.  Owen was sure checking the bird out.  I think he may have a future in hunting. 

Seth graduated from UW-L.  Congrats to him!

I went out to dinner with some friends from college.  It was soooo great to catch up with them and some of them hadn't met Owen yet.  Thanks Greta, Hillary & Brycen, Katie & Tait, and Emily ( & Baby Korbmacher # 2!), it was really nice to see you all.  I can't wait to see you all again.

Mother's Day

It has been awhile since I have posted.....Owen and I have been pretty busy.  Ethan was out of town most of last week.  Owen continues to amaze us everyday with all the new things that he is doing.  It is so much fun to get him to giggle.  He sure is entertaining.

Mother's Day was really nice.  My boys spoiled me by letting me sleep in....thanks guys!  Owen (well Ethan) bought me beautiful earings in Owen's birthstone, and the cutest card ever titled "Oh How I Love My Mommy"  It sure made me teary.

Being a mother sure makes you appreciate all the things that your mother has done for you.  My mom really is the BEST mom anyone could ask for.  I am also blessed to have such wonderful women to help guide me in being the best mom I can be, thanks to my grandmas, Aunts, mother-in-law, and friends.
