1 month!

Colin at 1 month:

LOVES to snuggle with Mommy.....all the time!  I am not complaining, yet ;-)

Enjoys tummy time with Daddy.  Prefers tummy time while laying on our chests, rather then on the boppy pillow or straight on the floor.

Hates sleeping in his bassinet.....would rather sleep on the floor, in mommy's arms, or in his bouncer.  Speaking of sleep.....Colin is up about twice at night  (He goes to bed around 9 pm  and is up around 1 am and 4 am, and up again at 8 am).  He is also getting really good at going back to sleep after he eats.  As long as he is burped well he is happy!

Took his first bottle like a champ!  The boy really doesn't care where his food comes from ;-)  Mommy and Owen had a bad cold, so Daddy has been taking some night feeding shifts so Mommy can get some much needed sleep.....Thanks Daddy!

Had his first bath real....not a huge fan!  In fact, he likes to poop in his bathtub which makes it difficult because Owen typically is taking a bath at the same time.....we only have 1 bathtub, so Colin has had to do a little dunk in Owen's bath to clean off.

Likes the car and going for walks outside.

Is more and more alert, which has been fun.

Has been nicknamed "Mr. C" "C-Bear" or "C-Lo" by mommy and Owen continues to call him "baby"

Owen continues to enjoy having a brother around, although it doesn't seem to have affected him too much.  Most of the time I don't feel that Owen even knows Colin is around.  Owen still calls him "Baby."   Owen likes to kiss him good-night and help get out the baby toys for Colin.  Recently he has been wanting to hold Colin's hand and "try" Colin's gear (car seat, boppy, tummy time blanket/play mats......and the "tent" or  nursing cover that mommy uses to feed Colin.....super funny that Owen thinks the nursing cover is a game.  I had to play with him under it)

Owen insisted on "snuggling" baby too....they are watching Lady and the Tramp(Thanks Judy and Karl....it was a HUGE hit! Owen asks to "watch Doggie" daily)

WOW, Colin I can't believe you have been in our lives for a whole month!  You continue to bring so much happiness and joy to our family and we feel so blessed to have you in our lives.  We look forward to watching you grow my little Cuddle Bear!  Mommy LOVES you!
