Colin, 10 months!

I realize that we are knocking on Colin's first birthday almost, but let's rewind back to 10 months.  I am always amazed how fast the first year goes by.

Here is all about my C-Bear at 10 months

10 months

~Owen LOVES him, still calls him baby.  Mommy and Daddy call him C-Bear, or just C.  Sometimes we even call him Colin ;-)

~Owen is one of the only things that can put a smile on his face when he is in a bad mood

~Getting the hang of solid pieces of food and feeding himself.  Will still eat some pureed food

~Favorite foods: puffs, peaches, combination foods that include spinach and pear

~Will eat food off our plates a little.  Doesn't have the best appetite this month.

~Has mastered the "worm" crawl and the backwards crawl, not so much typical crawling up on knees

~Continues to be a Momma's boy and if he sees momma and she walks out of the room, Colin cries
(Mommy secretly loves this most of the time !)

~Still having a rough time sleeping.  But, he has had an awful cold which I think is the problem.

~Paci, Colin likes it, but doesn't always NEED it.  I think I have another child who will be easy toss
that thing out

~Loves bathtime with his brother

~Likes when Daddy rocks him in the middle of the night when he isn't feeling the best.

~Will stand while leaning on things, but he really doesn't like it.  I think he is a bit scared of standing alone

~Rough month with teething.....hoping those two front teeth pop through soon!  hoping our happy boy makes a return soon!  Between teething and colds January has not been a good month for Colin

We LOVE our little Colin, even though you have been a little crabby!

There is some smiles!

Handsome!

Loves trucks, cars, anything with wheels

Starting to get into things.....uh oh!

working on crawling....this is about as close as he gets

Buppa can get some smiles from Colin.....he loves to be tickled.

January Fun

Still playing catch up!

My brother stayed in town for an extra couple of weeks.  Owen kept him entertained with setting up his wooden Thomas tracks for hours (I must confess that I find myself doing the same thing some days and I actually enjoy it).

We also enjoyed our first days sledding, ice fishing and building a snowman.  Owen received a new sled for Christmas from Santa and is doing a great job "driving" the sled.  He is really brave.

As for ice fishing, Ethan and I love to ice fish and we were very excited to take Owen along.  He wasn't the most interested in the actually fishing, but was thrilled to be walking on the ice, going in and out of the shanty, watching people fish and of course the snacks we brought.  Owen and I lasted about an hour and left Daddy out on the ice to enjoy the fishing.  I tried to carry Owen off the ice, but he didn't want to.  He kept saying "Look Momma, we are penguins"  (thanks Happy Feet!) It took us almost an hour to get back to the truck.  Such a tough little boy we have.

Snuggles for Adam

All bundled up in the sled

My coat tastes pretty good

I hate this sled!  I tried taken Colin with me on a sled and he didn't like that either

Punkin, you are funny!

Colin makes the funniest faces

Hahahahahaha

Brave boy on his sled

That was fast Momma.....Momma was a little nervous about Owen going down the big hill by himself, but he did great!

Hey Punkin, Let's race

and they are off

Even Owen's favorite toy get's some winter playtime

REWIND-----New Year's

We typically are pretty mellow on New Year's Eve.  Sometimes we don't even make it to midnight.  We picked up some seafood and spent the night at my parents house.  My mom is a great cook, so we left the cooking to her (I did make a salad).

The boys enjoyed playing and the food was Awesome!!!

Owen even made it to 12:30.....then he threw a tantrum....a bad one.

Party Time!

2012 was great.  Our best moments included watching Owen grown into a little boy and welcoming our little C-Bear, Colin into our family.

We look forward to 2013!

Christmas Morning---->Another REWIND

We are fortunate to spend Christmas in the same town where we live.  Our kids can sleep in their own beds and wake up at home.

Owen definitely "got" Christmas this year.  He was very excited for Santa to come and bring presents for all his friends.

We arrived home a little later than I thought we would from Christmas Eve activities.  The boys did not fall asleep in the car on the ride home.  When we came in the door Owen was on a mission to make Santa some snacks.  According to Owen, Santa requests:

Yup, A bagel with cream cheese, chip &, Cheetos (leftover from Owen's birthday party) and carrots for his reindeer.  No milk either, this Santa wanted straight up water.  It was really cute watching Owen get Santa's "lunch" ready.  Every meal for Owen is called lunch.

For those of you that know my kids, they aren't really early risers.  Since they went to bed so late, Ethan and I sat around Christmas morning anxiously waiting for Owen to wake up.  Colin woke up about 8 and Owen didn't get up till 10.  Owen was excited right away when he saw that Santa had come, but took awhile to warm up to me taking pictures.

Not quite in the mood for pictures

Sleepy boy

"Presents in my Stockin!"

Momma had to take a few posed pics before I let them get into presents.

Notice the hanger on the tree (above Colin's head).  Owen insists on decorating the tree whenever he finds something that resembles a Christmas ornament.

Merry Christmas!  Love the Webinger Boys!

Owen is very detailed and takes his time opening presents

Daddy teaching Owen how to shoot a Nerf gun.  Owen has learned many rules about guns lately.  Water guns and Nerf guns. These Nerf guns are so much fun.  In January we all had a stomach bug and were out for about 48 hours.  We played a lot of target shooting using the door and the dishwasher as our target.

Super excited about a reindeer Pez

Owen LOVES my camera and he actually takes pretty decent pictures with our tablet.  He was really excited about getting a camera of his own.

"Santa brought Owen a camera.  I lub it!"

Colin woke up from his nap.....the papparazi was in full force ;-)

Little boys playing a game on their bellies are so cute!

Colin needed a little help from his brother

He is getting this present thing down

Hmmmmm....lets see what I can find in this carpet.  Colin is the human vacuum cleaner.  We never had a problem with Owen putting things in his mouth.  Colin puts EVERYTHING in his mouth.

I love my new Fire Truck

Stealing my Brother's Pez

Sometimes it is tough being 3.  Owen is going to kill me someday for taking pictures of him when he is pouting.  I think he is cute, even when he is mad.
