A few weeks ago, Grandpa brought his kite, we tried a few times to fly kites over the summer, but it was just too hot. We had a perfect fall day to fly a kite and head out for a hike. Owen was quite strong and held onto the kite for a long time, we were all surprised he didn't let it go. He is a pretty determined kid.
Thanks Great-Grandpa "Woodshed" for playing with us.
Learning the ropes from great grandpa
The kite ran out of string....it flew really high
Hold on tight Owen
Love this picture! Owen and Grandpa Smith on a hike. Owen likes to pick of sticks and make "scrapes" that ones deer make
Great Grandpa came along for a hike
Colin typically falls asleep in the bjorn, kelty (which he is a little short for yet), or in his stroller for our evening walk.....not sure what we are going to replace that with this winter?
A little piggy back ride up the hill from Daddy
I wish fall lasted all year....it is by far my favorite time of year, I think my boys are enjoying it too!
