The Webinger Family: REWIND-----Owen turns 3

Is it possible that my little man, my Diddy, our Owie could be 3 already?!

Owen has turned into such a fun little boy. I remember thinking when he was about 18 months old, "Is this boy ever going to talk?" Well, we passed that milestone and he talks non-stop. This is probably my favorite part of his personality. He repeats a lot of what he is thinking. He also needs you to either be looking at him or say "Yes Owen, The moon is outside" He will continue to repeat it until you acknowledge it.....he even says "I want to see your face, momma"

All about Owen at 3!

~He says "uh huh" a lot.

~Love books especially ones that ask him a question and he can answer

~Appetite is getting better. Owen continues to not eat any meat or vegatables, but he has continued to add new foods to his short list of food he will eat.

~LOVES daycare, Owen is always excited to get to daycare and happy when momma leaves, sometimes he doesn't even want to leave if he has just woken from his nap and hasn't had time to play. We are so thankful for Krista and her helper Pat, they are great to my kids!

~Continues to be a GREAT big brother. He is gentle, protective, and loves to play with his brother. The feeling is mutual and Colin loves watching him. They are brothers though and as Colin becomes more and more mobile, I forsee a few more arguments ;-)

~Favorite activities: Playing outside (when it isn't so cold) He still loves pushing his HUGE dump truck around, anything with Daddy: Cars, legos, trains, building forts, hiking, swimming and fixing things. He LOVES his Grandparents. They are all so patient and love to include him in on what they are doing around the house, likes digging in the dirt (but doesn't like to get too dirty). Pushing cars around or playing with his car track, playing wii or the arcade with Daddy, marble track, taking pictures, and most recently sledding and shoveling

~Loves to help mom around the house. This boy will dust, vaccum, Swiffer, help mom with the laundry, and put silverware away.

~Owen is very stubborn. It is kind of funny because he has been a stubborn boy since the day he was born.

There is so much to Owen, I am sure I am missing something. it is really hard to believe that he can be 3. I feel like we just brought this dark haired, big eyed peanut home with his us. The last 3 years have been the best and I can't imagine my life without Owen in it. He makes everyday fun.

Owen chose a Thomas Theme. Thomas is big in our house and we spend lots of time putting together tracks for his trains.
